Behavioral Health Facility Need Review (FNR) Information:
A BHS provider may NOT relocate without prior department approval. Such regulatory non-compliance WILL result in action(s) taken against your BHS license by our department.
Substance Use/Addiction programs must maintain by hire or written agreement, the oversight of those services by a Board Certified Addictionologist
Behavioral Health Service (BHS) Provider:
A facility, agency, institution, person, society, corporation, partnership, unincorporated association, group, or other legal entity that provides behavioral health services, such as mental health services, substance abuse/addiction treatment services, or a combination of such services, for adults, adolescents and children and presents itself to thepublic as a provider of behavioral health services.

Effective January 1, 2021 all BHS facilities that provide residential substance abuse/addiction treatment services and that provide treatment for opioid use disorders shall provide the follow:
